
Do I need to book classes in advance? Yes, we recommend booking your spot in advance to ensure availability, as classes have limited capacity.
What should I bring to my first class? Comfortable workout clothes & a water bottle! If you are attending step, you will need to bring your own step (please check with me as we have a spare for those who would like to trial first).
Where are the classes held at Chester House? Classes are usually held in the Threshing Barn, but sometimes we move to the Marquee. Check your booking confirmation for the exact location.
What if I have no dance experience? No problem! Our classes are designed for beginners and are all about having fun and moving at your own pace.
Can I take breaks during the class? My fitness level is low. Absolutely! You’re encouraged to take breaks whenever you need and go at a pace that feels right for you.
Do I have to be a mum to join Move with Mama? No! Move with Mama is open to all caregivers, including dads, grandparents, and other guardians.
Do I have to use a sling in Move with Mama? No, using a sling is optional! You can bring your pram, a carrier seat, or even have your older child join in and dance alongside you.
What age can babies start from? Babies can join from 10 weeks old, and there’s no upper age limit.
What if I have twins? You’re welcome to bring a friend to help, free of charge, or message us in advance so we can work out a safe and enjoyable way for you to participate.
What qualifications does the instructor have? Sophie is highly trained and holds the following qualifications: - Level 6 Professional Dance - Level 3 Group Fitness - Level 3 Pre and Postnatal Fitness - Peer-to-Peer Sling Safety - First Aid Training
